Root Canal
What is a root canal? This is a procedure aimed at stopping decay that has descended to the pulpa, the living tissue of the tooth, by removing this tissue. A root canal is performed with local anesthetic, and therefore, it is completely painless. To generally summarize the procedure:as the pulpa tissue is extracted, the tooth is shaped, cleaned and dried. Following this, the root canal is cleaned with a disinfectant substance. It is then sealed and filled. In a later procedure the top is completed with a filling or a porcelain cover.
